Launch
Pad is the youth event we are holding alongside the main conference in
Jersey. It is for those aged between twelve and fifteen (group one) and sixteen and eighteen (roughly!) There will be vibrant worship, and dynamic teaching that aims to show how we can encounter God afresh and be so on fire for God that we can live radically and make an impact for Him. It will be held at the well equipped Immanuel Christian Centre, Victoria Street, St Helier starting 7.30pm Sunday 17th August and finishing lunchtime Saturday 23rd. There will be sessions starting at 9.30 and 7.30 everyday, with afternoons mostly free. Accommodation details are to be found on the booking form. If you are under 18 and coming by yourself, you need to use this booking form. If you are coming with your family, then you will need to use the main conference booking form which also gives details of travel and accommodation. Mark and Jo Nightingale Mark and Jo have recently established the Young People's Network and worship team at Exeter Network Church, a new charismatic, missional, Anglican church. They have been involved in youth work on a national scale for eleven years and believe church should be fun and try to be creative in their pursuit of God by having high voltage worship, inclusive community, far-reaching discipleship and outreach that is effective in an ever changing culture in all that they do. They love walking their 2 dogs on the beach, surfing and all that Devon has to offer them. |

Steve Everett Steve is lively, passionate and quite unusual. He
has been involved with youth and young people's ministry for twenty
years in Oxford, Faroe Islands and currently in a Western Asian Muslim
nation in a tent-making church-planting role. He travelled extensively
in Eastern Europe as an evangelist during the communist days. Married to
Annika with four teenagers (one currently with YWAM), they enjoy a wide
range of music, drama and reading. Steve especially is very keen on
cricket, but even more enthusiastic about intimacy with Jesus and
sharing Him with others in song, acting and art. He also is 'fanatic'
about Gods global commands having spent 10 years mobilising in UK
universities, and hopes to envision as many youth as possible to 'go to
the ends of the earth' especially the 10/40 window. |
